One of the most versatile fish designs we offer to date. Can be ridden as a 5 fin (Tri / Quad) or as a twin. The secret is a performance outline mixed with a modern fishy rocker. Blending elements is the key, while maintaining balance. The sword fish has the most curvy performance shortboard outline. Narrower nose and tail than all our other fish. But this board has a pretty mellow fish rocker. Those two things play off each other in the exact opposite way our BowieFish (Wide fish outline / shortboard rocker) was designed. Who’s this for? Guys that want to ride a fish, a true fish but are used to riding more narrow outline out boards. Guys that want their fish to fit the pocket while still groveling. Hope you enjoy.
Sway The Sway is our High Performance 2+1 go anywhere, do anything longboard. This board was developed with Morgan Cushing for traveling around doing east coast beach break ESA contests where the criteria is more performance oriented than it is about nose riding. We want it to be known that we didn’t just want to make an elongated shortboard, popsicle style longboard that you can find from other brands. Our boards are known for their ease of paddle, glide, speed, and maneuverability. So we went to work and at the end of the day, we have developed a new school contest style high performance longboard with the characteristics of what is to be expected from the Brother label. Built in glide, built in paddle power, surf off the back foot longboard that still nose rides. Its a real game changer for someone that just wants one board that kind of does everything in every condition. Key Features: Smooth clean outline that has a moderately round nose and a moderately pulled in tail for the style of board. Everything was made to be clean with this board. Concave on the bottom at the nose that runs toward the mid section of the board. Double to V out the back with a hard blocked off edge in the tail for sharp cutting change of direction. The rocker is mellow for most HP style boards. This is what makes it feel like a Brother. It paddles well and has that glide element. It has Medium-low tail and Medium Nose, natural rocker not reverse like our other logs. This board loves a steeper beach break where it can hold in on steeper drops and be pushed hard off the tail. Fin setup: This board comes standard as a Single + Side Bites. We offer it custom as a pure single as well as single + quad. Pure single: go same inches or 1/2” more of fin as length of board. (Weight / Skill Depending) Ex. 9’0 Sway pairs with a 9”-9.5” Fin Single + Side bites: go 1/2” -1 1/2” smaller than length of board in inches. (Weight / Skill Depending) Ex. 9’0 Sway pairs with a 7 1/2”- 8 1/2” center fin / 3 1/4” - 3 1/2” side fins. (Weight / Skill Depending) means lighter weighted rider or more skilled rider go with the lower end of fin depth. Heavier weight or less skilled go on the upper end of fin depth. Stock Sizes: 8’8 x 22 3/4” x 2 3/4” (Matts Dims) 9’0 x 23” x 2 3/4” 9’2 x 23 1/4” x 2 3/4” 9’4 x 23 3/8” x 2 7/8” (Morgan Dims) 9’6 x 23 1/2” x 2 7/8” 9’8 x 23 3/4” x 3” 9’10 x 23 7/8” x 3” 10’0 x 24” x 3 1/8” Whos this for? All Skill Levels, Beginner to Pro Wave Size? 1ft – 5 feet, Loves waves with a pocket whether its a point break or beach break. Can handle bigger waves than most logs. Hows this compared to other models in same category? The person that will love the Sway is someone that wants to surf hard off the tail, drive through turns while still having nose ride capability. Someone that is either use to riding traditional rocker style boards or someone that wants a fresh new feeling after coming off our reverse rocker nose riders. I would size this board shorter than our other longboard models just to maintain the performance aspect of what it was intended for. Whether you are doing the contest series or just wanting an all around rip-able longboard, the Sway will be a treat for you.
The one board that will clean up anyones surfing. This board will change the way you look at not only small wave surfing, but what is possible on something this small. This soap has been refined and refined. We went into the new year with the mindset that we wanted the soap to be that one board that we made absolutely everything on the board. (Fins/Leash/Etc) So each soap now comes stock with custom template, hand foiled marine ply half moon fins, and a matching toe cracker leash drill through on the deck. A couple of attributes of this board is the subtle curves of the nose and the tail. Nothing out of place, cleans lines work the best. Low entry, deep concave through fins with enough tail kick to send it vertical in steeper sections. I bring this design with me during the summer months at home and every trip up north to New England.
Pro-fish ~ Curvy yet performance driven This board is a stable in our lineup, and can be ridden in a variety of different waves. We took the outline of a 1970s Retro Fish and totally modernized it. Giving the board a modern rocker and rails makes our fish perform more like a modern day shortboard than a traditional fish. We moved the fins back on the board as well to create insane amounts of drive, paired with high aspect upright fins this board pivots top to bottom allowing you to surf it more aggressively. We recommend glass ons for those looking for a more solid flex. The Pro Fish unlike most fish was designed to be surfed backside as well, given the changes to the bottom and curviness in the tail frees up the board to swivel in the pocket. Additional options for this board include adding 4 channels that run between fins which gives the board additional grip and traction on the wave face without tracking. Another option is having a concave deck, which gives you a skateboard like feel and added front foot control.
Pig Classic board with modern tweaks. This board was designed and updated by our very own laminator Dave Bracht. Dave wanted a pulled back wide point pig nose rider that feels like the old classic logs hanging on the wall but refined and updated with modern advancements in to perform better. These advancements help transform this board from an old school cruiser to an advanced level contest performer. Up and coming long boarder Morgan Cushing made the finals in 2026 Malibu Invitational riding his Pig. Key Features: Full roll bottom nose to tail. Faster and smoother on the face. Also makes for a more neutral balance foil. No sticky concave. The Pig has reverse rocker, very low nose and lots of kick in the tail. A wide square tail counter acts the high tail by adding surface area that adds drive and suction. The Wide pulled back hips help this board turn and fit the pocket really well; even being so wide in the back. Pinched 50/50 classic rails give it a sensitive feel even with it being a thicker classic style log. Designed to be ridden in middle of the board. Step back on the wide tail to turn and then set your line and walk to the nose. This is most classic style longboard we make and for those pig lovers a must have in your quiver. Stock Sizes: 9’0 x 22 7/8" x 2 3/4" 9’2 x 23" x 2 3/4" 9’4 x 23 1/8" x 2 7/8" 9’6 x 23 1/4" x 2 7/8" (Morgans Dims) 9’8 x 23 3/8" x 3" 9'9 x 23" x 3 1/8" (Daves Custom Dims) 9’10 x 23 1/2" x 3" 10’0 x 23 5/8" x 3 1/8" Whos this for? Intermediate to Pro Wave Size? 1 ft – 4 feet, Loves a point break but can excel in any lined up wave with a pocket. Hows this compared to other models in same category? The Pig is meant to be ridden the same length or shorter but narrower than the Omega . It's the most classic under the arm feeling longboard we make. The Pig isn't really made to fit between the Butters or the Omega but to be a completely new and refreshing feel to your quiver. Anyone that loves Pig style longboards will hop on this and feel right at home.
Passport "Heroes get remembered but legends never die." Local Legend Todd Drotleff is that guy. Todd, probably has been more around the world than anyone I know. When you travel as much as Todd, you need a board that has a huge range of versatility. That is where the Passport comes in. Todd rode his magic 6'6 at Puerto Escondido, Maldives, West Oz, and the list goes on. What he needed was a board that has a mid length ease and flow, semi gun paddle strength, with familiar shortboard outline and performance characteristics. The board has to out paddle anything, but be nibble and hold in everything. It also needed to be able to grovel in junk if he was skunked. All that being said, the passport checked all the boxes and lasted the test of time. Key Features: Pretty mellow rocker with a super clean high performance shortboard outline. The outline might look too aggressive for some people but don't worry because the flat rocker counteracts the aggressive outline. They play off each other. Low entry rocker with flip, Medium Exit rocker. Huge sweet spot in the middle for tons glide and so the board will feel natural to all stances and foot preferences (back footed surfers/ front footed surfers). Additional Foam under chest for semi gun/ mid length paddle power. Medium soft rails with tuck that won't catch and a thin tail foil for sensitivity, quick direction change and hold. Can be ridden as a thruster, quad, or twin + stabilizer in small surf. In Todd's words, "The front half of the board helps you catch the wave, (Length x Volume) the back half helps you do anything you want to. The tail being super thin and sensitive makes it truly versatile in all conditions." Stock Sizes: 6’0 x 20 5/16” x 2 11/16” 35.5L (Todds Shortboard Dims) 6’2 x 20 3/8” x 2 3/4” 37.7L 6’4 x 20 7/16” x 2 13/16” 39.8L 6’6 x 20 1/2” x 2 7/8” 42L (Todds Magic Mid Dims) 6’8 x 20 9/16” x 3” 44.5 L 6’10 x 20 5/8” x 3 1/16” 46.8 L 7’0 x 20 11/16” x 3 1/8” 49.3L Whos this for? All Skill Levels, Preferably those that come from riding shortboards. Wave Size? 2 ft – 10 ft (East Coast), One of the most versatile designs we have made to date. Hows this compared to other models in same category? The Passport is a designed paddle power, glide, early entry mid length with shortboard/semi gun characteristics. It sits above our OG Bowie Knife in terms of versatility and wave range/size. Its has grovel ability, it has stepup ability. A great weekend warrior working person board. A great board for aging surfers that want extra paddle power in a one board quiver. This is a great addition to the Brother lineup of models simply based on versatility. Knowing you are covered no matter what the ocean offering.
The Omega The Original Noserider, we built the first Omega back in 2018 and it's been an absolute staple ever since. Designed and updated year after year with professional longboarder, Curtis Purdue and college champion / world traveler Bailey Kaiser. Key Features: Blunt Nose, helps keep some width upfront without catching on turns. This also makes the outline extremely parallel which turns a normal log into an absolute glider of a paddler and trimmer. Smooth Reverse Rocker: Low Nose High Tail. Very easy to walk up and back. Designed to be ridden in the middle and forward on the board. Slightly turned up rails so it creates suction to the face and won't catch from rail to rail. This is our most popular and most widely known longboard up and down the coast. Stock Sizes: 9'0 x 23 x 2 3/4 9'2 x 23.25 x 2 3/4 9'4 x 23.38 x 2 7/8 9'6 x 23.5 x 2 7/8 (Curtis Dims) 9'8 x 23.75 x 3 9'10 x 23.88 x 3 10'0 x 24 x 3 1/8 Whos this for? All Skill Levels, Beginner to Pro Wave Size? 1/2 ft - 4 feet, Loves waves with a pocket whether its a point break or beach break. Hows this compared to other models in same category? The Omega should be in every long boarders quiver. Meant to be ridden longer than the Butters and Sway. Around the same length of the Pig. The Omega is the best paddler, fastest riding, and possibly the easiest to walk up and back, longboard we make.
We all have those special boards when we were kids that we wish we could get back again. This board is that board. It’s a modern take on a classic shape I had when I was a kid. Low fishy entry rocker, medium kick out the tail, flat deck, modern single/double bottom, modern rail tuck, modern foil, modern shortboard weight with the glass job. Its takes everything we have learned with building modern high performance boards and blending that with a forgiving easy to ride, easy to catch waves, old school outline and shape. Available as a double bump round and or squash. We like to offer this model with a rail spray and 80s rail logos for flair. This board is truly a one board quiver and can be taken out 95% of days here on the east coast. You can ride it as a Tri / Quad / Twin + 1. It’s a fan favorite and will continue to grow in popularity.
Mind Expander This model is a case study. We first shaped this board back in 2018 along with the Omega and Profish, 1 of 3 models we offered that helped build the Brother Brand. What we learned is that everyone that has gotten one has had their mind blown! What we also found as time progressed is that this model isn't or shouldn't be the first mid length you ever ride. Meaning most surfers that come to us looking for a tried and true classic mid length should probably try the Brody Egg or Magic Matt first then step on the this. We actually took it off the website for a few years just to create a better on ramp for first time mid length buyers to get the right mid length underfoot before they go down the radical Mind Expander road. Now that time has passed, our brand has grown, people are more educated on what a mid lengths is and what to order, we thought its time to bring it back. Key Features: Wide point back from center. This is a common thing with modern day shortboards, but to do it on a mid adds some spice. The wide point is between your feet and anything extra is taken away for absolute freedom in the carve and cutback department. The bottom is super radical, roll in the nose into a tri-plane concave bottom (not a hull), into a double-v out the tail. The Tri plane tucks up the rails for more sensitive engaged rail to rail transitions. The Single Concave into double -v fits the performance outline just enhances the characteristics of the board. Modern day high performance mid length. Fast and Furious. Stock Sizes: 6’6 x 21” x 2 11/16” 42L 6’8 x 21” x 2 3/4” 44L 6’10 x 21” x 2 3/4” 46L 7’0 x 21 1/16” x 2 13/16” 48L 7’2 x 21 1/16” x 2 7/8” 50L 7’4 x 21 1/8” x 2 7/8” 52L 7’6 x 21 1/8” x 2 15/16” 54L 7’8 x 21 3/16” x 3” 56L Fin Setup: 2+1 / Pure Single Single + Side bites: go same inches or 1/2” smaller than length of board in inches. (Weight / Skill Depending) Ex. 7’0 M.E pairs with a 7”- 6.5” center fin / 3 1/4” – 3 1/2” side fins. Pure single: go same inches or 1” more of fin as length of board. (Weight / Skill Depending) Ex. 7’0 M.E pairs with a 7”-8” Fin (Weight / Skill Depending) means lighter weighted rider or more skilled rider go with the lower end of fin depth. Heavier weight or less skilled go on the upper end of fin depth. Less fin = Loose/Easy to turn. More fin = More Drive / Hold Whos this for? Intermediate - Pro Wave Size? 2 ft – 5 feet, Tight Pockets / Clean walls / Barrels. Any wave that short boarders are out, the Mind Expander will play. Hows this compared to other models in same category? This board will be more in the upper end range in terms of wave height and performance of all the mid lengths we offer. Tons of performance characteristics that will keep you coming back for more. It's exciting to ride, never dull or boring. I think this board will be perfect for average to above average surfers that maybe have had other mid lengths in the past and want something new and exciting. Something to blow their mind with what a mid length can really do.
Magic Matt Egg The Magic Matt, The backstory comes from our buddy Matt Landon who has ordered big eggs, short eggs, thin eggs, carbon eggs, triple stringer eggs, and of all the eggs over all the years he just came back to this hand shape 7'2 yellow magic egg. What makes it magic is the board is incredibly balanced. The Magic Matt fits perfectly in the Brother Egg lineup. It is an in between'er egg, that is more performance feeling than the OG Brody Egg but not as shortboard feeling as the Brody HP. It's an egg for those that want to do more on the wave, but still want to keep the flow. Long story short, if Matt who is the ultimate egg surfer says it's his favorite egg, then we should make it a model and start offering it to everyone so that's what we did. Key Features: Clean balanced outline and foil. Nothing too extreme, the overall rocker is more than the OG Brody but less than the Brody HP. Nose and Tail width are similar to the OG Brody. The Rail Thickness is similar to the Brody HP. More flip in the nose than the OG Brody, less than the HP. More Tail rocker than the OG Brody, less than the Brody HP. Reading this you will see why I said this model sits perfectly in between our 2 tried and true eggs. Stock Sizes: 6’4 x 20 15/16” x 2 7/16” 37L 6’6 x 21” x 2 1/2” 39L 6’8 x 21 1/16” x 2 9/16” 41L 6’10 x 21 1/8” x 2 5/8” 43L 7’0 x 21 3/16” x 2 11/16” 45L 7’2 x 21 1/4” x 2 3/4” 48L 7’4 x 21 5/16” x 2 13/16” 50L 7’6 x 21 3/8” x 2 7/8” 53L 7’8 x 21 7/16” x 2 15/16” 55L 7’10 x 21 1/2” x 3” 58L 8’0 x 21 9/16” x 3 1/16” 60L Whos this for? All Skill Levels, Preferably by those that love the classic single fin egg feel with a thinner more performance foil. Fin Setup: 2+1 or Pure Single Single + Side bites: go same inches or 1/2” smaller than length of board in inches. (Weight / Skill Depending) Ex. 7’0 MM pairs with a 7”- 6.5” center fin / 3 1/4” – 3 1/2” side fins. Pure single: go same inches or 1” more of fin as length of board. (Weight / Skill Depending) Ex. 7’0 MM pairs with a 7”-8” Fin (Weight / Skill Depending) means lighter weighted rider or more skilled rider go with the lower end of fin depth. Heavier weight or less skilled go on the upper end of fin depth. Less fin = Loose/Easy to turn. More fin = More Drive / Hold Wave Size? 1 ft – 4 feet, All style waves from mushy to steep and punchy. Hows this compared to other models in same category? The Magic Matt sits right in between. I think more skilled surfers that ride alternative style boards will really gravitate to this design. This design will allow them to still feel the trim, speed, and glide but have some spice to it as well. I think women will benefit from the overall thinner foil. This aspect will help them duck dive the board, engage the rail and turn the board, and honestly if you talk to my wife just carrying the board. It's not a big bulky board and that's part of what makes it magic. If you love riding eggs and or have one of our other 2 eggs, I highly recommend you give the Magic Matt a try.
Long FISH / MID Fish / Trim Fish When I think of the best sessions I have had on this board, I imagine sitting on the outer sandbar picking off peelers and connecting sections all the way to the beach. Effortless smooth surfing, nothing too rash. It never leaves my car all summer long. Much easier than hauling around a log, less drag as a twin fin making it the fastest mid in our lineup. I recommend it with our Pivot Keels for the most balanced feel. Mids are always a feel thing. For those that love speed / flow / glide of a twin fin, but in a longer more stretched out package this is the board for you. Long period walled-up hurricane swells or those sneaky little spring south swells it really lights up. Good for all levels and abilities, we believe that having a board like this helps surfers draw new lines and have more fun.
New for 2022, the Lil Jon model. This design came when we experienced a summer flat spell like no other. After being on a longboard for 2-3 months straight we started to get the itch to ride a shortboard again, except the waves were completely too small for that piece of equipment. So back to the drawing board. We went back to the original Dave model, which was a wider nose / wider tail step down groveler shortboard. We squashed down that plan shape on the Dave model, and combined with a fishy rocker, a rocker very much like the profish / apache, tested it and tweaked it a few times until what we have today. This board is slightly narrower than most of the pure grovelers which helps keep the board loose in the pocket in small waves, but still has the wide nose/tail for glide in mush. This board is left fairly full, like most grovelers or top water boards but a refined rail and tail for bite. I would order it around the same Length as your Profish / Apache Model, which enough thickness to support your recommended volume in the groveler range.
